Larceny & Granny Smith

Larceny & Granny Smith! What a great title for a short story!!!

Neither my husband nor I have had a taste for whiskey in the past, but we tried Von Payne in New Orleans this summer. It's a whiskey infused with black currant.

This started a new hobby. My husband has been selecting different inexpensive whiskies and infusing them with different fruits. (The best so far was cherries, but they are no longer in season. Never feat, no syrupy cherry flavor detectable ) Then he takes a picture showing the color change and labels them.

The 1st picture shows the unadulterated whisky and apple. The 2nd shows the infusion process. And the 3rd shows the color change in the final product. (Larceny & Granny Smith on the left. Gentleman Jack & black grapes on the right.)

Last night, when he said he was going to try out Larceny & Granny Smith, I thought 'What a Fantastic Title'!!!
