Sunne, the only remaining member of the royal family, walks unseen by her subjects. The Chancellor feeds their fear and schemes to do away with her when the Night Prince arrives demanding tithes for the first time in over a century. Sunne’s kingdom, shrouded in gray since the horrific death of her parents, cannot afford the tribute.
Enamored by the Night Prince who does not fear to see her, Sunne offers an alliance of marriage to save her kingdom. In order to retain power, the Chancellor blesses the union between Sunne and the man who has sworn to kill her.
